These Terms of Use apply to Listen Step, provided by Guangzhou Hongmiao Technology Co.,Ltd. Contact: zivhoward@zwhongmiao.com. Please read them before using the app or buying a subscription.

1. Using Listen Step

Use the app lawfully and upload or share only content you are authorized to use. Keep your account secure. Protocols and AI-generated results may contain errors: review all steps, quantities, tables and safety requirements before use. Listen Step is an organizational tool, not medical advice or a guarantee of experimental safety or success.

2. Monthly subscriptions and automatic renewal

Pro and Pro Max monthly subscriptions renew automatically each month unless canceled before the next renewal. Google Play charges the payment method associated with your Google Account. The price, currency, billing period, any introductory offer and subsequent renewal price are shown in the Google Play purchase screen before you confirm. The app's complimentary trial does not itself authorize a paid subscription. If you choose a separate Google Play trial or offer, its checkout terms apply.

3. How to cancel

Open Google Play, tap your profile, then Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions > Listen Step > Cancel subscription, or use Manage subscriptions. Follow the confirmation steps before your next renewal. Access normally continues until the paid period ends, unless a refund, revocation or applicable law provides otherwise. Uninstalling the app, signing out or deleting your Listen Step account does not cancel a Google Play subscription.

If a renewal payment fails, Google Play may provide a grace period during which subscription benefits remain available. If payment remains unresolved and the subscription enters account hold, subscription benefits are suspended until recovery or expiry. This is not a suspension of your Listen Step sign-in account. Recovery timing and renewal dates follow Google Play's subscription status.

4. Refund Policy

Refunds for subscriptions and in-app purchases are handled in accordance with Google Play's refund policies and applicable law. Eligibility depends on the purchase and circumstances; cancellation does not automatically refund an earlier payment. Use Google's refund request process or contact us for help. Nothing in these terms limits any non-waivable consumer rights.

Website payments (where enabled)

Paddle is the merchant of record for website purchases. The checkout shows the final price, currency, tax and renewal terms before you pay. Website subscriptions renew monthly or yearly, depending on the selected plan, until cancelled; single PDF credit purchases are no longer offered. Manage or cancel a Paddle subscription using the subscription-management link in your Paddle receipt. For a website payment or refund request, visit Paddle buyer support, use the support link in your receipt, or contact zivhoward@zwhongmiao.com. See Paddle’s refund policy; Google Play cannot manage Paddle purchases. Cancellation does not automatically refund an earlier payment. Deleting your Listen Step account does not cancel a Paddle subscription. Applicable consumer rights remain unaffected.

Purchases are linked to the signed-in Listen Step account. A return page alone does not activate access or add credits; server confirmation is required. Do not buy another subscription while one is active through a different store. Test checkout, when offered to designated testers, does not take a real payment.

5. PDF extraction allowances and credits

Where offered, Pro Max includes 20 successful PDF extractions per subscription month; unused monthly allowances do not roll over. New single-credit purchases are no longer offered. Previously purchased single credits remain usable and do not renew automatically. Each Firebase account, including an existing account, can receive one welcome credit once. Purchased credits are separate from the monthly allowance and do not expire merely because a subscription ends. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred between accounts.

One credit covers one PDF extraction task, regardless of how many protocols or modules it produces. A credit is reserved during processing and consumed only when a structurally valid final result is available. Failed, empty or invalid extractions release the reservation to its original source; an expired monthly allowance does not become a new month's credit. Closing the app does not cancel a dispatched task. Successful processing is not a guarantee of scientific accuracy, and you must review the results. Refunded purchases may have their associated unused credits or access removed.

6. Privacy, updates and contact

Our Privacy Policy describes how account data, documents and recordings are handled. Keep independent copies of important records. We may update these terms and will provide notice of material changes through the app or website; changes do not override existing purchase terms or mandatory legal rights.
